I have always been a hard worker, maintaining several jobs and volunteering at the same time throughout high school, college, and beyond. My experiences have been diverse in nature, and always led by a passion for people and understanding how behavior can impact others.
With a BA in Theatre, I have always had interest in the business side of the arts. With that creative lens and focus on people, the skills that I learned in theatre have provided me with the ability to read others, adapt in any situation and foster trusting relationships. Blending creativity with business acumen, I've honed skills on stage that translate into perceptive relationship-building approaches.
My HR journey has been a rich blend of experiences, from witnessing when initiatives miss the mark and leaders struggle, to standing as a trusted partner in leaders' successes. Consistently moved to larger scopes of responsibility and serving as a Senior Vice President in HR, I am recognized for my performance being in the top two percent of Cast Members at Walt Disney World. Passionate about giving back, I also have been honored to receive the President's Volunteer Service Award over 12 times. As a volunteer lecturer at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management and an active arts leader in the community and local government, I'm deeply invested in both education and the arts.
