My Story
I have always been a hard worker, maintaining several jobs and volunteering at the same time throughout high school, college, and beyond. My experiences have been diverse in nature, and always led by a passion for people and understanding how behavior can impact others.
With a BA in Theatre, I have always had an interest in the business side of the arts. With that creative lens and focus on people, the skills that I learned in theatre have provided me with the ability to read others, adapt to any situation, and foster trusting relationships. Blending creativity with business acumen, I've honed skills on stage that translate into perceptive relationship-building approaches.
My HR journey has been a rich blend of experiences, from witnessing when initiatives miss the mark and leaders struggle, to standing as a trusted partner in leaders' successes. Consistently moved to larger scopes of responsibility and serving as a Senior Vice President in HR, I am recognized for my performance being in the top two percent of Cast Members at Walt Disney World. Passionate about giving back, I also have been honored to receive the President's Volunteer Service Award over 12 times. As a volunteer lecturer at the Rosen College of Hospitality Management and an active arts leader in the community and local government, I'm deeply invested in both education and the arts.

What is the Ghost Light
What is a ghost light? Used on live performance stages, a ghost light is a small, single bare bulb, usually a floor lamp of some type, which illuminates the darkened stage throughout the night when a theater is closed or is unoccupied. It provides safety in a dark space that contains many potential hazards and hidden places – an orchestra pit, stage scenery, ropes, cables, and uneven floors. The light also has the additional duty of warding off mischievous theatre ghosts that may come to play with theatre workers, performers, and audiences.
Why The Ghost Light
From a consulting perspective, the ghost light symbolizes security, knowledge, and safety – the safety that comes with illuminating the darkness, gaining knowledge by seeing what lies in the unspoken shadows, and security by providing the ability to see obstacles and pitfalls that may otherwise be hidden or out of view. The ghost light logo symbolizes my ability to create a safe space to bring light to organizations and help creative executives discover what is unseen.

In terms of ghosts, while not typically considered part of organizational culture, ghosts can have impact on a business. A ghost in an organization can be symbolized by a strong personality that has a palpable impact (positive or negative) that still lingers and influences behavior and culture even though the individual is no longer with the organization. Others talk about this individual as if they are still walking the halls and impacting decisions or the organizational culture today.
